Changing demographics.csv

I am very interested in learning to use PsychoPy for my teaching and research and played around with this demo. Unfortunately, every time I change just a letter within "demographics.csv" I cannot run this demo anymore. Does someone have an idea why this could happen?

I wanted to translate it to German but already changing "Thank you..." to "Danke...", saving "demographics.csv" and then running the .psyexp gets an error. I still get asked to give my participant key and I see the windows about the screen but then the experiment ends.

I am working on a Mac apple silicon (M1). Does maybe opening and saving the "demographics.csv" on my mac leads to the problem? And if yes, how can I fix it?
